Content Management System procurement support
The project issues
North Down BC wished to implement a Content Management System (CMS) to improve their website provision.
The Council had undertaken a tender process and had short-listed suppliers.
They wanted Socitm Consulting to provide the Council with professional support in the selection process surrounding the choice of a supplier of a Content Management system and implementation services for an improved website.
The Socitm Consulting solution
We reviewed the Council’s specifications.
We reviewed the five supplier proposals.
We commented on the Council’s proposal marking scheme.
We suggested questions for the supplier presentations.
We attended the presentations and were involved with the presentations and evaluation.
We made recommendations regarding the appointment.
The benefits to the client
The Council was able to call on impartial and knowledgeable advice on a specialised procurement and adopted our recommendations.
