Real-time booking and mobile working
The project issues
The Council needed to implement the programme for e-Government in respect of Real-Time Booking and Mobile Working for Priority Outcomes. The provision of ISU monies enabled the Council to free up internal resources by using Socitm Consulting to manage and monitor those projects.
The Socitm Consulting solution
We worked closely with the e-Government Manager, the Customer Services Manager, the IT Manager and relevant service managers to agree the individual action plans for achieving the Council’s objectives, identifying the risks involved and managing the individual projects.
The benefits to the client
The Council was able to concentrate its own resources in the implementation and overview of the whole e-Government programme. New opportunities were also brought to light which when implemented will transform some of the processes within the Council.
