From its inception, Socitm Consulting has been heavily involved in helping individual local authorities and partnerships with strategic advice, effective change management and performance and efficiency improvement. The majority of local authorities across the UK have used our services and we are the leading consultancy in this sector for e-government support, ICT strategy, benchmarking, Best Value reviews, partnership development and procurement.
Many of our consultants come from senior management positions in local authorities. As an organisation, we understand the drivers, the culture, the challenges and the opportunities facing local authorities as they seek to become ever more efficient and effective. In every project we seek always to transfer skills to enable our clients to become ‘transformational’ organisations, building the internal capacity to sustain change.
