Our Credentials

Apart from our extensive base of satisfied customers, we have received formal acknowledgements of the quality of our work through our recent quality ceritification by Accredit UK, through acceptance by various buying consortia, and through the unsolicited feedback we receive. Examples of these are set out below.

 

Accredit UK logoWe have recently received quality certification from Accredit UK - part of the National Computing Centre, and responsible for accrediting businesses in the ICT and consultancy sector.

The highly-regarded badge of excellence which Accredit UK award to selected companies is a measure of the extent to which they stand out from their competitors and are continually improving their business. Gaining this unique standard requires a business to achieve excellence and to prove its commitment to continually improving.

Buying Solutions (formerly Catalist, and before that S-Cat) is a suite of Framework Agreements that OGC Buying Solutions has established to provide public sector organisations with a simplified means of procuring a wide range of goods and services from a variety of suppliers.

Each of the suppliers on the Buying Solutions framework agreements has been subject to a rigorous procurement process, ensuring they offer the scope and quality of services required by customers in the public sector. Pre-agreed terms and conditions offer customers sound contractual safeguards. The framework is compliant with the new EU procurement directives as well as UK procurement regulations.

Socitm Consulting is Buying Solutions-accredited in three key areas:

  • Organisational Consultancy, as part of the AMQIS Consortium. Our specialities in this area include ICT and information consultancy, general management consultancy, and advice on legal and regulatory issues.
  • Interim Management, as part of The Alliance of Interim Managers (AIM). Within the interim management arena, our specialities are Local Government and Education, along with Defence.
  • Specialist Contractors, as part of the ACUMEN Consortium. Under this framework we can provide staff across a number of specialist areas including programme and project management, procurement support and technical specialisms.
