Regular and ad hoc penetration testing designed and managed by fully qualified, external security consultants is essential for ensuring that your computer systems are secure to GCSx and CoCo standards.
In association with Encription Limited, Socitm Consulting is able to offer a service to ensure the continuing security of your networks and websites. Encription Ltd is a professional, UK-based consultancy based in Worcestershire which is Tigerscheme accredited and a board member of the public sector TIGER testing standards initiative. They work to ISO27001 and ISEC OSSTMM security standards and are ISO 9001:2000 certified.

Discounts are available on the following services:
EXTERNAL TESTING (Annual)
- Every twelve months (or at a frequency to suit you) we will test your IT security from a secure external location. If we find a vulnerability we will tell you what the impact could be, the risk and the effort required to fix it, and we will show you in detail how to do that.
INTERNAL TESTING (Annual)
- Every twelve months we will come on site and repeat the above tests, but from an internal perspective; we will also test other internal areas including wireless security
- With both internal and external testing a full CESG CHECK standard report is produced including a management and technical summary, plus an in depth technical explanation.
INTERNAL SECURITY SCANNER (Quarterly and on-demand)
- When on site we can install an internal IT security server which is tailored to your network. This allows your own IT staff to schedule and conduct internal IT security scanning in between our regular testing.
EXTERNAL SECURITY SCANNER (Quarterly and on-demand)
- Encription can give your IT staff secure access to our external security servers allowing them to schedule and conduct, on demand, their own external IT security tests on your network.
