Workflow systems

Workflow systems control for information is passed from one point in an organisation to another as part of a defined process - they ensure, for example, that payments against invoices are independently checked before being passed for payment. Often, workflow is an integral part of the Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS) but maybe separate from it.
